IACHR completes its work visit in Nicaragua and issues a preliminary report with 15 recommendations to the State of Nicaragua. It condemns the deaths, assaults and arbitrary detentions of the students.

The National Police, through a statement, denies police presence in the UNA area and invited the IACHR to show up to the university, when the IACHR was already on site.
La Policía Nacional a través de comunicado, negó presencia policial en la zona de la UNA e invitó a la CIDH a que se presentará en la universidad, cuando la CIDH estaba ya en el sitio.
