The historic peaceful march “Mother of all marches”, left the Jean Paul Genie roundabout towards the Central American University (UCA) and concluded with one of the worst massacres, 15 murdered -including minors- and more than 120 injured in Managua, Estelí, Masaya and Chinandega. The attack was perpetrated by the National Police and its para-police forces, with snipers located in the Denis Martínez Stadium area. UCA and Cathedral open their doors to shelter thousands of people who participated in the peaceful march in honor of the Mothers of April.
